Job Description:

The Senior Coordinator for Experiential Learning Programs provides leadership and oversight for a portfolio of co-curricular and experiential learning initiatives that strengthen student engagement, belonging, professional development, and connection to the Fulton Schools of Engineering. The incumbent in this role will primarily work with the Grand Challenges Scholars Program, Engineering Projects in Community Service, and the Fulton Accelerate Community Engagement programs. The position also includes spanning the Student Success and Engagement team related to project management, assessment, evaluation, and reporting.

The position is responsible for managing multiple programs and initiatives, coordinating faculty and stakeholder partnerships, supervising professional and student staff, and leading efforts related to assessment, continuous improvement, and strategic growth. The Senior Coordinator serves as a leader within Student Success and Engagement and is responsible for advancing college priorities through effective project management, implementation, and collaboration.

As a member of the Student Success and Engagement team, the coordinator, Sr. supports essential duties within E2 Camp, a cornerstone retention initiative. E2 camp is held in Prescott, Arizona, during July and August annually. This individual will be required to travel to and participate in leadership of E2 for approximately 10 days (not consecutive), which will be decided in conjunction with the individual hired.

Position Salary Range:

  •  $58,000 - $64,000 per year; DOE

Essential Duties and :

Programmatic Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of experiential learning programs and initiatives
  • Establish annual priorities, goals, implementation plans, and success measures aligned with college and Student Success and Engagement priorities
  • Monitor participation, engagement, and program outcomes to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Lead program planning, resource management, communications, and implementation efforts across the portfolio
  • Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate opportunities for program enhancement, growth, and new experiential learning initiatives that support student engagement, belonging, and professional development

Project Implementation

  • Lead project management and implementation efforts across experiential learning programs and the Student Success and Engagement team
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of priorities and initiatives
  • Serve as a resource for project planning, implementation, and continuous improvement
  • Identify and address risks, barriers, and opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and operational effectiveness
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts supporting college and university priorities

Assessment and Continuous Improvement

  • Lead assessment and evaluation efforts across Student Success and Engagement, ensuring consistent measurement of program outcomes and impact
  • Analyze participation, engagement, and outcome data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Develop reports, presentations, and recommendations that support strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness, student outcomes, and operational performance
  • Promote a culture of data-informed decision-making, assessment, and accountability across the team

Staff Leadership and Development

  • Supervise professional and student staff
  • Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching
  • Support staff development and leadership growth
  • Delegate effectively while maintaining accountability for outcomes
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Partnership Development

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with faculty, academic units, university partners, industry representatives, and community organizations
  • Serve as a liaison between Student Success and Engagement and partner units
  • Facilitate collaboration across decentralized teams and stakeholder groups
