As a Molecular Biology Target Engagement intern within our In vitro Biology/SMIRNA department, you will participate in the evaluation, optimization, and development of biochemical and cellular methods to measure target engagement using two complementary approaches. Ready to get started?

Key :

• Participate in the optimization of a PCR assay to measure the engagement of splicing modulators on their RNA target
• Take part in the development of the EMSA protocol to study and quantify interactions between molecules and the target RNA
• Contribute to the evaluation of the sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility of both methods on a panel of reference compounds
• Provide support in comparing the results obtained by PCR and EMSA to validate their complementarity
• Participate in an integrated and standardized workflow for target engagement evaluation and write an experimental report

About you

• Technical and soft skills: rigor, autonomy, analytical mind. Knowledge of RNA splicing and molecular biology. Experience in EMSA, protein-RNA binding techniques.
• Education: Master's degree (Bac +5) in molecular biology or cell biology
• Languages: intermediate English
