Our location in Boxmeer is one of the most important production and development sites within our global Animal Health network. Every day, hundreds of professionals work on the development and production of vaccines and veterinary medicines that contribute to animal health worldwide.

You will join the Maintenance & Reliability team. Within this department, Maintenance Technicians, Senior Technicians, Engineers, and Work Planners work closely together to continuously improve the availability, reliability, and performance of our production installations.

About the position

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and inspection maintenance work on production installations, utilities, and support systems.

You analyze and resolve technical malfunctions and actively contribute to improving the reliability and availability of our installations. In doing so, you work with a wide range of techniques, including mechanics, electrical engineering, pneumatics, and industrial automation.

You are an important link in the operation and work closely with colleagues from Maintenance, Engineering, and Production to ensure that our processes continue to function safely, compliantly, and efficiently.

**Tasks and **

• Resolving, analyzing, and preventing technical malfunctions in production installations.
• Performing preventive, corrective, and inspection maintenance.
• Working on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
• Executing technical modifications and improvements to installations.
• Contributing to increasing the reliability and availability of equipment.
• Supporting maintenance, improvement, and investment projects.
• Supervising contractors and external suppliers during work.
• Working according to GMP, safety, and quality guidelines.
• Correctly recording work, inspections, and maintenance activities in systems.
• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and working methods.

Your profile

• Completed technical MBO-3 or MBO-4 education, for example in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering.
• Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Troubleshooting Technician, Technical Service Mechanic, or similar position.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations.
• Affinity with industrial automation and control technology.
• Proactive and solution-oriented work attitude.
• Strong safety and quality awareness.
• Good command of the Dutch language and sufficient knowledge of English to understand technical documentation and procedures.
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system and on-call duty.
• VCA and NEN3140 are a plus, or you are willing to obtain these certifications.
