Our Quality Assurance department ensures that all materials and substances contained in our products are manufactured, processed, tested, packaged, stored, and delivered in compliance with our strict quality standards and all regulatory requirements. Through the close collaboration of our internal production facilities and cooperation with external manufacturers and suppliers, we create a tightly integrated global production network dedicated to reliably and punctually supplying customers and patients worldwide with products that meet high quality standards in every single case.

With our new production site in Krems an der Donau, we aim to be a provider of innovative vaccines and immunotherapies for the protection and treatment of livestock and pets. With the further expansion of our facilities, our company has set the goal of being a significant employer in Lower Austria, offering attractive career opportunities in a wide variety of functions within a modern and secure working environment.

For this location in Krems, we are looking for a

QC Laboratory Technician Biochemistry (m/f/d)

Full-time, immediate start

:

• Member of the laboratory team working on-site on the "shop floor"
• GMP-compliant and timely execution of biochemical analyses (ELISA, gel electrophoresis, serotyping, dot blot, etc.)
• Documentation of all analysis-related activities, review of analysis data and test execution, and participation in the establishment and qualification of reference materials
• Support for validations and optimizations of analytical methods
• Documentation and investigation of deviations and out-of-specification results
• Assumption of equipment (organization of maintenance and calibration activities, contact person for equipment issues, etc.)
• Working with electronic systems (LIMS and SAP)
• Continuous analysis of laboratory processes to improve efficiency

Requirements:

• Completed scientific education (apprenticeship, HTL, college)
• Strong quality and safety mindset as well as awareness for continuous improvement and willingness for further development
• High sense of responsibility and flexibility
• Systematic approach and good organizational skills
• Accuracy, versatility, reliability, and a love for precise documentation
• Very good teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in staggered shifts and on weekends
• Very good German and basic English skills in both spoken and written form
• Very good MS Office skills; initial knowledge of application software such as SAP or LIMS is an advantage

The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is EUR 47,532.24 gross per year. Depending on the qualification profile and professional experience of the successful candidate, there is a willingness to pay more.
