Job Description

As an Infrastructure Planner/Installer at Ubisoft Montreal, you will plan and carry out light construction, renovation, and maintenance work in our leased spaces. You will ensure that work is accurately estimated, completed on schedule, and executed safely in accordance with the Building Code. This position is primarily based in Montreal and may require occasional travel to our other Quebec studios.

What you will do:

• Manage service requests related to space maintenance and repairs;
• Define and follow the maintenance plan based on quarterly visits conducted with the logistics, design, and work environment teams;
• Perform light construction, renovation, repair, and painting work;
• Coordinate work follow-ups with subcontractors and verify their compliance;
• Keep track of costs associated with various projects;
• Provide weekly project status updates to the person in charge;
• Manage the inventory of tools and hardware;
• Propose improvements and projects related to the spaces;
• Perform other tasks related to the position.

Qualifications

What you bring to the team:

• DEP (Vocational Diploma) in carpentry;
• High School Diploma or any other equivalent training is an asset;
• Competency card in a field related to renovation is an asset;
• Valid driver's license, in case travel is required;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction, renovation, or a related field;
• Mastery of basic carpentry concepts;
• Knowledge of the Building Code;
• Ability to effectively plan and schedule manual work;
• Initiative in executing tasks;
• Ability to manage tasks with little supervision.
