The Department of Economics in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in econometrics. We seek candidates who combine methodological depth in econometrics with a strong research interest in applied microeconomics (e.g., urban, industrial organization, labor, education, health, or public), applying modern econometric tools to policy-relevant questions.

The Department of Economics has a national reputation for excellence in applied microeconomic research and econometrics, and offers B.A., B.S., M.A., Ph.D., and combined degree programs. It is housed within the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and we seek candidates with interests. Successful candidates may be invited to affiliate with one of Maxwell’s fourteen research centers and institutes.
