Eureka operates "Pairs," an online dating app for people who are serious about finding a partner. Pairs is one of Japan's largest online dating apps, with over 27 million cumulative registrations.

Since launching in Japan in 2012, Taiwan in 2013, and South Korea in 2025, we have continued to grow steadily, with over 900,000 people finding a partner through Pairs. In 2015, we joined Match Group, which operates online dating apps worldwide. We are advancing product development with an eye toward global expansion, including our existing Taiwan version and further entry into other Asian markets.

Job Summary: We are looking for a "Finance Business Intelligence Analyst" to support the growth of our online dating app, "Pairs."

At Eureka, we have a culture of prioritizing data to make business decisions in various decision-making scenarios. This position will be part of the BI (Business Intelligence) Team, with the major mission of expanding the use of data for business decision-making and improving the speed and quality of analysis. Specifically, this position will work closely with the Finance Team to build and operate forecast models and conduct Risk & Opportunity Analysis to drive decision-making for Pairs. You will also be responsible for implementing a common financial data infrastructure across the entire group in collaboration with Match Group.

No prior engineering skills are required at this time. The team will support you through OJT for the skills needed for the job. As a self-growth benefit, you can also learn via Udemy. We have a track record of team members who were inexperienced in data analysis but succeeded through learning.

This position offers the following experiences:

• Experience influencing Pairs' overall strategic decision-making through data (annual roadmaps, regional expansion, feasibility of large-scale marketing campaigns, etc.)
• Experience acquiring and utilizing engineering skills such as SQL, Git, Python, and dbt
• Experience implementing, maintaining, and operating data infrastructure
• Experience in analysis and development using coding agents (such as Claude Code)
• Experience collaborating with Match Group on development and analysis

What You’ll Do:

• Build and operate forecast models in collaboration with the Finance Team
• Provide strategic recommendations through Risk & Opportunity Analysis
• Design, analyze, and verify the effectiveness of product/marketing initiatives (A/B testing, causal inference)
• Implement and operate financial databases in collaboration with Match Group

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
• Experience influencing decision-making through data analysis
• Passion for solving complex problems
• Experience driving cross-functional projects
• Business-level or higher Japanese proficiency (Reference: N1 or higher)
• Business-level or higher English proficiency (Reference: CEFR B2 or higher)
• A desire to improve engineering skills (SQL, data pipeline). Current skill level is not a factor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data analysis using SQL
• Experience implementing dashboards with BI tools such as redash / Tableau
• Experience/knowledge of A/B testing and statistics
• Experience working with directors and executive members
• Experience in analysis and development using coding agents
