We are looking to incorporate a strategic profile to contribute to the business development of Rare Diseases. The main objective of the role will be to provide scientific advice to healthcare professionals.

The position will allow for the development of solid experience in medical education and the promotion of treatments for rare pathologies, demonstrating skills in the use of digital technologies and the ability to sustain high-impact conversations. The person is expected to generate authentic and human connections, strengthening valuable relationships with the medical community. You will be based in Buenos Aires and will cover AMBA and cities in the interior.

Senior Rep – Rare Diseases

Key include:

  • Responsible for the implementation and development of marketing strategies, sales, and local action plans through demand generation, acting as a bridge for negotiation in key accounts, and building consistent initiatives to deliver results.

  • Ensure the maintenance and growth of products in the market, as well as the search for new business alternatives in the market, aligned with strategies, through frequent territory analysis and acting in synergy with marketing, commercial, and access teams.

  • Meet the sales targets established for the region, developing and implementing territorial action plans, as well as metrics for record-keeping, strategic segmentation, visits, and coverage related to accounts and physicians, aligned with the brand strategy to positively impact the affiliate's results.

  • Demonstrate excellent technical/scientific mastery of the diseases related to the promoted products and their competitors, confidently addressing concepts and studies in interactions with healthcare professionals.

  • Act collaboratively with the Access, Marketing, and Medical areas, contributing to the delivery of training aimed at strategic clients, with the goal of preparing them for the proper use of our products, supporting the implementation of high-quality medical and scientific education initiatives.

  • Map the structures and dynamics of the healthcare system (public, social security, and private), identifying relevant stakeholders and decision-making circuits.

  • Build relevant institutional knowledge and develop strategic links with key actors in the healthcare system, generating a network of contacts that facilitates the identification of opportunities and barriers.

What we expect from you

The professional we are looking for must have acquired the vital knowledge and skills to perform the functions of this position through the following combination of education, experience, and knowledge or its equivalent.

Basic requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in the promotion of products for rare/orphan pathologies and/or neurology
  • Availability to travel
  • Valid APM license

Desirable requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma, preferably in marketing, health sciences, and/or economics
  • Previous experience in multinational companies
  • Knowledge of the healthcare system and how it functions
  • Knowledge of clinical research
  • English proficiency
