Position Purpose:

To provide legal advice and assistance to the Bank's structures in support of its business and operational activities, ensuring compliance with the legal framework and the protection of the Bank's interests in contractual relationships, judicial proceedings, and other legal matters.

Key :

  • Providing legal assistance and consultancy regarding the Bank's products, services, projects, and initiatives.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating banking and commercial contracts and other legal documentation.
  • Preparing legal opinions and legal risk analyses to support the decision-making processes of business and non-business structures.
  • Representing the Bank in judicial and administrative proceedings and before other public institutions, as well as preparing relevant procedural acts.
  • Managing and handling complaints of a legal nature.
  • Providing legal assistance in lending, procurement, asset and property sale processes, and other processes with legal impact.
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory changes and assessing their impact on the Bank's activities.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in law firms, audit/consulting firms, financial and banking institutions, public institutions, or state agencies involved in investment and development projects.
  • Experience in the field of civil, commercial, banking, financial, and administrative law will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in legislation and judicial practice related to the following is preferred:
  • property rights over real estate and movable assets;
  • obligations and contracts;
  • financial and banking services;
  • digital services and products.
  • Knowledge of civil and administrative judicial procedures and practice is essential.

Required Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of civil, commercial, banking, financial, property, obligation, and contract law, as well as civil and administrative procedure.
  • Excellent skills in drafting and negotiating contracts, as well as in preparing reasoned legal opinions.
  • Mastery of advanced legal research methods and analysis of judicial practice.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and propose solutions for legal risks.
  • Very good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work under tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment.
  • High professional integrity, work ethics, discretion, and initiative.

Formal Requirements:

  • University degree in Law and a Scientific Master's in Law. A GPA above 8.5 is preferred.
  • Very good knowledge of the English language; knowledge of the Italian language will be considered an advantage.
  • An active Bar License is a significant advantage.
  • Must not have been dismissed from previous employment for disciplinary violations.
  • Must not be and must not have been the subject of criminal proceedings or convicted by a final court decision.
