The "Integrated Manufacturing Systems (IMS)" team within the "Automation & Manufacturing Systems" unit at the Frankfurt BioCampus Engineering department is responsible for the operational management of Manufacturing Data Information Systems (MDIS) for active ingredient production. MDIS systems collect process and laboratory data from adjacent systems, serve as a communication platform, visualize long-term recorded data, generate automated reports, and act as a data basis for research.

As an IMS Engineer MDIS, you are responsible for ensuring the necessary services within your area of responsibility for operating the MDIS solutions. This involves collaborating with and cross-functional project teams as well as external service providers. You will handle day-to-day tasks independently while adhering to GMP guidelines. This also includes troubleshooting system issues and implementing measures to increase system availability. Regular professional development is part of your daily work routine and supports your personal growth.

Key :

• Ensuring the GMP and SOP-compliant collection, processing, storage, evaluation, and reporting of process data as an essential component of manufacturing documentation.
• Providing support for system issues and outages. Coordinating and implementing measures to resolve process and system disruptions, including organizing internal and external service providers and suppliers.
• Supporting MDIS-related projects for the implementation of new requirements as well as, for example, migration projects (system technology and software updates), including commissioning and performing installation and functional tests.
• Coordinating and performing regular monitoring, maintenance, and repair measures on the systems.
• Coordinating security activities for the manufacturing data collection systems in connection with adjacent systems within the Sanofi network.
• Contributing expert knowledge during inspections and quality audits.

About you

Experience:

• Several years of professional experience in information or automation technology, ideally in the pharmaceutical or industry.
• Sound knowledge in the areas of IT, programming, Windows Server, databases, network technology, and security.
• Experience in supporting MDIS from the manufacturer AspenTech as well as general knowledge in the field of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) would be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge in a GMP environment (qualification, validation, change control, GAMP 5).

Education:

• Completed degree (Bachelor / Master / Diploma) in information technology, electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable field.

Languages:

• Good written and spoken German and English skills.

The salary range for this position is :€79.104,00 - €105.472

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
