With a view to strengthening our Technology structure, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team.

Your mission

Design, implement, and evolve Cloud, Private Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud infrastructures, contributing to the creation of reliable, secure, scalable, and automated platforms, while supporting the technological evolution of company services and platforms.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and evolve Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and Private Cloud infrastructures and services, optimizing their performance, reliability, and costs.

• Contribute to the definition of infrastructure architectures and related technological standards.

• Support the evolution of platforms toward automated and software-defined models.

• Carry out Cloud migration projects and automation activities using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools.

• Design and support the implementation of backup, high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Integrate Cloud platforms with monitoring, logging, ITSM, Identity & Access Management, and Cyber Security tools.

• Support Delivery teams in the onboarding of new services and clients, and Operations teams in managing complex infrastructure issues.

• Analyze infrastructure performance, capacity, and usage, identifying optimization interventions and capacity planning.

• Collaborate on the definition of security baselines and platform hardening.

• Support upgrade activities, technology refreshes, pre-sales, and the evaluation of new technological solutions.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational standards, and detailed project documentation.

• Interact with vendors and technology partners in project activities, troubleshooting, and platform evolution.

The ideal profile

We are looking for someone with solid experience in Cloud and Infrastructure Engineering, capable of operating in complex and distributed environments, with a strong focus on automation, service quality, and technological innovation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineer or Cloud Engineer roles.

• Experience in managing complex enterprise infrastructures, preferably distributed across multiple Data Centers.

• Experience in building or managing Cloud, Private Cloud, or Hybrid Cloud environments.

• Good knowledge of technical English.

• Experience gained at Cloud Service Providers, Managed Service Providers, Telcos, or large enterprise companies is a plus.

Professional skills

• Knowledge of public and private Cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and Hybrid Cloud infrastructures.

• Skills in Compute, Storage, and Networking, including server architectures, enterprise storage, IP networking, network virtualization, load balancing, and firewalling.

• Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.

• Experience in infrastructure automation via Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management, scripting, APIs, and versioning tools.

• Familiarity with container technologies and Cloud Native architectures, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, capacity management, and IT Service Management tools and processes.

• Skills in infrastructure security, Identity & Access Management, vulnerability management, and Zero Trust principles.

• Troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructures and a focus on automation and standardization.

• Ability to document architectures and technical solutions and to collaborate effectively with teams, vendors, and technology partners.

Preferred qualifications

Certifications or significant experience with VMware, Microsoft Azure/Azure Local, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, networking and security, as well as enterprise storage technologies, will be considered a plus.

Starting salary: from € 45.000

The final classification and salary offer will be defined based on objective and consistent criteria, including professional experience, technical skills, and the of the role.
