Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Logistics Engineer to join our team! In this role you will provide expertise in logistics strategy, network design, and operational planning.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide expertise in logistics strategy, network design, and operational planning.
- Assist with large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that impact supply chain performance, cost structure, and service delivery.
- Develop recommendations based on modeling and analysis, and interfaces with leadership
- Evaluates and improves supply chain cost structures and service levels
- Maintains policies, standards, and best practices
- Assesses logistics and supply chain risks (e.g., vendor performance, single points of failure, transportation disruption)
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Minimum 8 years' experience, including at least 3 years on large city-scale projects. Strong interface management experience is required
- Expert knowledge of supply chain strategy, network modeling, and logistics optimization
