About the role:

The HEAL (Health Ecosystem Account Leader) will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Market Access strategies in the private market, aligned with Biogen's strategic priorities, acting as the company's primary representative to the supplementary health ecosystem.

The professional will be responsible for the strategic management of key national and regional accounts, including Health Insurance Providers (Operadoras de Saúde), Vertical Systems, Hospital Networks, Infusion Centers, Specialized Clinics, Benefit Administrators, Economic Groups, and other relevant stakeholders in the supplementary health sector.

You will act as the strategic leader for the accounts under your responsibility, developing sustainable, long-term relationships with executives in medical affairs, auditing, clinical management, oncology, neurology, rare diseases, , supply chain, access, negotiation, innovation, and senior management of healthcare organizations.

The HEAL will be responsible for deeply understanding the care model, decision-making flows, reimbursement models, quality indicators, internal protocols, and strategic priorities of each account, developing Strategic Account Plans that promote sustainable access to Biogen therapies and strengthen institutional partnerships.

As a leader of the private ecosystem, you will identify opportunities to transform the patient journey, remove access barriers, support innovative care models, develop collaborative health management projects, and generate shared value for patients, providers, payers, and the healthcare system.

The professional will work in an integrated manner with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial, Value & Access, HEOR, Government Affairs, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Finance, and Compliance teams, leading cross-functional strategies for strategic accounts.

You will also be responsible for continuously monitoring the competitive environment, regulatory trends in supplementary health, ANS movements, value-based reimbursement models, clinical protocols, technology adoption, and care indicators, transforming market intelligence into strategic opportunities for Biogen.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement Strategic Account Plans for Health Insurance Providers, Vertical Systems, Hospital Networks, and other strategic accounts.

  • Build institutional relationships with executives in medical, access, auditing, , supply chain, innovation, and senior leadership of the accounts under your responsibility.

  • Continuously map organizational structures, decision-making flows, influencers, care protocols, and funding models of the accounts.

  • Develop customized strategies to expand sustainable access to Biogen therapies considering the specific needs of each organization.

  • Identify and eliminate access barriers throughout the patient journey in the supplementary health sector.

  • Lead discussions on clinical protocols, institutional guidelines, technology adoption, and value-based care models.

  • Develop collaborative projects with payers and providers aimed at improving clinical outcomes, care efficiency, and system sustainability.

  • Support initiatives for evidence generation, , Real World Evidence (RWE), and Value Demonstration.

  • Promote scientific education and health management programs among stakeholders of strategic accounts.

  • Develop ongoing relationships with medical societies, opinion leaders, centers of excellence, and private reference institutions.

  • Monitor care indicators, therapy utilization, coverage, authorizations, and opportunities for improving the patient journey.

  • Continuously track the ANS regulatory environment, updates to the List of Procedures (Rol de Procedimentos), supplementary health trends, and innovative reimbursement models.

  • Share market intelligence and support the construction of affiliate strategies.

  • Lead integrated account planning in partnership with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial, HEOR, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, and Compliance.

  • Develop initiatives aimed at expanding access, strengthening institutional partnerships, and generating shared value for customers and patients.

  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with Biogen policies, the Code of Conduct, and ethical and Compliance principles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field. A postgraduate degree will be considered a plus.

  • Based in São Paulo.

  • Advanced English.

  • Availability for domestic travel.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Brazilian Supplementary Health System.

  • Knowledge of the dynamics of Health Insurance Providers, Vertical Systems, Hospital Networks, and Private Providers.

  • Knowledge of coverage, reimbursement, authorization, and technology adoption processes in the private market.

  • Knowledge of ANS legislation, the List of Procedures, and supplementary health care models.

  • Knowledge of Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Health Economics, and Evidence-Based Medicine.

  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models (Fee-for-Service, Bundled Payment, Capitation, and Value-Based Healthcare).

  • Experience in Strategic Account Management.

  • Ability to understand the private ecosystem and develop collaborative solutions to improve the patient journey.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with C-Level executives and decision-makers.

  • Negotiation, influence, and consensus-building skills.

  • Leadership in matrix environments and management by influence.

  • Strong strategic vision and orientation toward value generation.

  • Analytical capacity to interpret clinical, economic, and care data.

  • High capacity for planning, organization, and prioritization.
