Job detail for Research Associate in Rock Mechanics & Engineering

We are seeking a self-motivated and collaborative individual to join our Rock Mechanics and Geomechanics Engineering team as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an externally funded research project addressing key challenges in subsurface engineering and sustainable energy development. You will be based in the Department of Civil Engineering and Management at The University of Manchester and work within a wider research team with strong academic and industrial collaboration. The position is initially funded for 18 months, with the possibility of extension subject to further funding.
