micro1 is engaging experienced UltraTax CS Specialists and tax professionals to support a customer project focused on completing and documenting real-world tax workflows within UltraTax CS. In this role, you’ll use your hands-on tax preparation experience to complete realistic tasks and contribute high-quality data that supports the development of next-generation AI systems.

Scope of Work

1. Complete realistic tax preparation and compliance workflows using UltraTax CS.
2. Prepare and review Federal and State tax returns based on provided scenarios.
3. Enter and review taxpayer information, income, deductions, credits, and other relevant tax data.
4. Review tax calculations and identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information.
5. Work with common individual, business, corporate, and partnership tax scenarios.
6. Explain the steps followed to complete different workflows in UltraTax CS.
7. Review completed tax work for accuracy and compliance.
8. Create realistic examples based on professional tax preparation workflows.
9. Document processes and provide clear written feedback according to project guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong hands-on professional experience with UltraTax CS.
2. Professional experience in tax preparation, tax accounting, or tax compliance.
3. Experience preparing and/or reviewing U.S. Federal and State tax returns.
4. Familiarity with individual and/or business tax returns, including corporations and partnerships.
5. Strong understanding of common U.S. tax forms, terminology, and filing processes.
6. Ability to independently navigate UltraTax CS and complete common tax workflows.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify tax or data-entry errors.
8. Ability to clearly explain tax preparation steps and decisions.
