About the position
The team's task is to support the automation technology area for the Bio Launch Unit within the FBC, both in terms of projects and the operational phase. The team is also responsible for defining the standards to be used.

Would you like to take on a key role in a state-of-the-art and GMP-regulated production environment? In this role, you will be responsible for the automation and vision systems in the filling and inspection area at the Insulin Cluster Frankfurt. You will thus make a central contribution to the secure supply of vital insulin products.
Together with your team, you are responsible for the planning and execution of automation projects as well as the lifecycle support of automation and vision systems (inspection machines).
Main tasks
- Support and further development of automation and image processing systems
- Planning and implementation of lifecycle / obsolescence projects for existing and new equipment up to commissioning
- Initiating and processing changes to technical equipment (Change Control / Change Request) including creating and reviewing project-related qualification documents (QP, DQ, TM, RA, IQ/OQ plans, QB) and performing IQ / OQ tests
- Steering and monitoring of external service providers
- Identification and implementation of technical improvements
- Standardization and harmonization of technical solutions as well as identification and implementation of innovative approaches for efficiency increases and quality improvements.
- Participation in the further development of standards and processes
- Close coordination with APUs and involved trades
- Training of employees (production, maintenance) regarding equipment changes
- Collaboration in internal and external committees on issues of equipment planning, migration, and IT security with the goal of influencing engineering developments.
- Maintaining contacts with suppliers, engineering firms, and engineering departments of other areas of the ICF, Sanofi, and other pharmaceutical companies for the exchange of experience.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE and GMP requirements
- Implementation and monitoring of measures for the continuous improvement of safety, environmental, and health protection
- Safe and GMP-compliant operation of the equipment

About you
Education and professional experience
- Completed training in electrical / automation engineering, technician, or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of programming automation systems
Social skills / Technical skills
- Siemens PLC programming required
- Experience with Wonderware InTouch desirable
- Good knowledge in the field of automation technology, IT, cyber-security, and digitalization
- Process knowledge for filling and inspection desirable
- Good knowledge of the basic regulations regarding cGMP
- Safe and respectful interaction with employees from other departments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Very good IT skills – especially Office (Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Teams / Loop)
- Experience in, among other things, the optimization of process workflows is desirable
- Quality-conscious, independent, structured, and systematic way of working
- Independent work and follow-up of open points
- Persuasive demeanor and negotiation skills. Good communication and presentation skills. Independent action & customer-oriented thinking.
Languages

The salary range for this position is :€79.104,00 - €105.472
Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
