About the role

The Service Integration Logistics Officer plays an important role in supporting the Libraries, Arts and Customer Branch to deliver safe, efficient and well-coordinated services across a diverse portfolio of Council facilities.

Working across multiple sites, you will support day-to-day operational activities and service requirements, helping to ensure facilities are ready, compliant and operating effectively. This includes supporting building maintenance, security, WHS and compliance requirements, liaising with contractors and service providers, and maintaining accurate operational and budget records.

You will work closely with internal teams and external providers to coordinate activities, respond to operational issues and support initiatives that improve service efficiency and customer experience. The role also contributes to planning and scheduling operational activities, with a focus on minimising disruption to services.

A key part of the role is monitoring WHS and security matters, including supporting the review and follow-up of incidents, ensuring actions are completed and hazards are appropriately managed. You will also provide practical advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders on operational, WHS, security and facility matters.

About you

We are looking for an organised, adaptable and proactive officer who enjoys bringing people, services and processes together to achieve positive operational outcomes.

You will have:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, multitask and pivot quickly in response to changing operational needs
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to coordinate actions and follow them through to completion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to provide clear, practical advice to supervisors, managers and senior stakeholders
  • Experience supporting operational activities, logistics, facilities or service delivery within a multi-site environment
  • A strong understanding of WHS and security requirements, with the ability to identify issues, assess risks and ensure appropriate actions are progressed
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to respond to issues and make sound decisions within your area of responsibility
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, contractors and external service providers
  • A commitment to compliance, continuous improvement and delivering a positive experience for customers and teams
