Casual Field Engineer, Sydney

About the role

We are seeking a Field Engineer to join us on a casual basis to provide technical support for projects, commercial customers and in service support functions.

Day to day duties include, but are not limited to;

• Ensure that Safety is the primary consideration of all field engineering activities.
• Travel to customer vessels/rig as required for trials, field service, installations and operator training.
• Perform Job Safety Analysis prior to performing tasks.
• Liaise with customer to investigate issues and analyze problems.
• Perform maintenance on equipment where required.
• Produce Set to Work testing reports.
• Produce service reports on all maintenance and service performed.
• Provide input for Factory Acceptance Test reports.
• Perform test procedures as directed.

Travel may be required, but this role is primarily to cover the Sydney area for CN30 NDS

About you

To be successful in this role, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;

• Hold an electronics/Electrical technical qualification
• First Aid certificate
• Excellent analytical/diagnostic/problem solving skills
• Field service experience in the marine sector
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to hold and maintain an Australian Defence Clearance to a NV1 level
• Able to get DCAC and gain access to defence bases (HMAS Kuttabul and Waterhen)
