Patient Program Specialist

:

  • Support the Patient Support Programs (PSPs) under your responsibility by contributing to their performance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather information on the unmet needs of patients and healthcare professionals, with the goal of optimizing PSP offerings.
  • Participate in the ongoing management of PSP vendors, including supporting risk assessments, mitigation plans, and issue resolution.
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure the governance of program documentation, while ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that processes, service levels, and quality standards are clearly defined and met; analyze performance indicators and dashboards to evaluate program results and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop expertise in patient therapeutic journeys and provide recommendations to cross-functional teams regarding barriers to optimizing care and clinical outcomes.
  • Act as a point of contact for assigned PSPs for field teams and customers, responding to information requests and supporting operational activities as well as problem-solving.
  • Provide training and information on program objectives, processes, enrollment pathways, and services offered, with a focus on continuous improvement and lifecycle management.
  • Respond promptly to questions from healthcare professionals and clinical staff regarding PSP access, workflows, and operational issues.
  • Coordinate activities with field teams, PSP vendors, and internal partners regarding program operations and implementation.
  • Participate in budget planning and the management of expenses related to PSPs, including contributing to budget forecasting and reconciliations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (in a health or life sciences field strongly preferred).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry; experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with healthcare professionals in a commercial or clinical context, preferably in support of patient clinical journeys, pharmacy services, reimbursement navigation, or other patient support services.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system, including public and private plans as well as their processes, is an asset.
  • Fluency in French is required.

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel within Canada may be required.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,760 – $110,640 CAD. Qualifications

  • Experience working with healthcare professionals in a commercial or clinical capacity, with preference for supporting patient clinical workflows, pharmacy services, reimbursement navigation, or other patient support services.
