Job Description:

Electrical & Telecom Inspector

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical & Telecom Inspector to join our team! In this role you will conduct site inspections to verify electrical and works are executed in accordance with contract specifications, approved drawings, Quality standards and HSE requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct inspections for street lighting, ITS, MCC, and telecom installation/relocation works, and related electrical/MEP interfaces.

• Verify works are performed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs; confirm only approved materials are incorporated.

• Maintain daily diaries, photo records, inspection files, and reports; track Inspection Requests and document non-conformances and corrective actions.

• Coordinate with contractors, other discipline inspectors, survey and testing teams to support inspections, testing, and progress verification.

• Identify potential conflicts/issues, recommend practical solutions, and report progress/technical issues to the ARE/RE.

• Support as-built records and installed quantity checks for payment/change work where required.

• Perform work safely, support job safety practices, and remain cognizant of public safety.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years inspection experience on infrastructure/utilities projects with electrical/telecom scope.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications; strong reporting and documentation discipline.

• Proficiency in MS Office and inspection reporting systems.

• Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with contractors and project stakeholders.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Experience with authority/utility coordination and close-out documentation (as-builts, test records, O&M handover).

• Ability to provide technical guidance to junior inspectors and work effectively in a site environment.
