Work Arrangements: Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days home office)
Job Purpose
As part of the Sanofi Pension Advisory (SPA) team, you will support the Head of Pension Investments France / Actuarial Coordination in managing the investment activities of the French and Swiss DB & DC plans and in coordinating actuarial matters during the year-end IAS19 pension closing process. You will work closely with investment committees, asset managers, and Sanosi colleagues supporting other functions / pension plans, while also holding key in asset manager research.
The SPA team is a specialist unit of Sanofi’s Corporate Treasury that helps to coordinate and monitor the pensions investment activities of Sanofi worldwide. The team is international, with members in Belgium, France, the US and the UK, reflecting the global nature of our . Our work is collaborative, bringing together regional and functional investment expertise within the SPA team, while working closely with local and global people and culture teams to deliver efficient and effective retirement provision across Sanofi.

Sanofi Pension Funds in France and Switzerland, Actuarial coordination
The manager supports the governance of pension plans in France and Switzerland in investment matters and assists in the actuarial coordination process under IAS19
- Assists in managing French DC assets (PEG, PERCO, Art. 83/82), supporting Finance's representation on supervisory committees
- Supports management of externalized French DB and Swiss DB assets across multiple insurers and asset managers
- Supports quarterly/year-end actuarial coordination at group level, liaising with P&C, Consolidation, affiliates, actuaries and auditors
- Occasional travel required (5-10%), mostly to France
Sanofi Pension Advisory – Manager research
Working globally, the manager supports the investment manager research function of Sanofi Pension Advisory. This requires that the manager:
- Builds detailed knowledge of Sanofi's investment managers and maintains the monitoring structure, leading calls and analysing performance
- Leads research projects to identify suitable managers for new allocations or replacements
- Applies judgement to assess managers' forward-looking skill and develops tools for qualitative/quantitative analysis
- Manages research documentation and prepares materials for the Global Pensions Investment Committee (GPIC), including quarterly reports and briefing packs, and supports meeting organisation
Sanofi Pension Advisory – AI Innovation
Sanofi is an AI-powered company and as part of the SPA team, the manager will have access to cutting-edge AI tools, currently in pilot phase. The manager:

Skills, Experience and Knowledge Requirements
Professional skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrated general knowledge of, and interest in, finance, investment, and pensions
- Ability to work with both a local and an international team: English and French language skills essential, other language skills advantageous
Key Skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Aptitude for analytical work, both quantitative and qualitative
- Ability to flexibly and thoughtfully leverage AI and traditional tools such as Excel
- Strong organisation skills, both in managing assigned projects and coordinating third parties
Work Experience
- 3-7 years of experience working with a pension fund, in pensions investment consulting or asset management; exposure to investment operations or manager research preferred
Education and Training
- Degree in finance & investments or related field
- CFA charter holder (or progression towards) or equivalent qualification an advantage
- Knowledge of actuarial subjects and IAS19 a plus

The salary range for this position is :€78 000,00 - €104 667
Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
