Summary
The Sales Director is responsible for the development, implementation, and follow-up of a sales
plan that will create opportunities for the proliferation of the company’s products and services to
commercial airline operators.

Cultivate successful customer relationships that focus on mutual benefit, maximize the partnership potential, and drive to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations

Act as the primary point of contact for each appointed customer, and be a customer advocate for them within the organization

Visit customers on a regular basis

Develop well-organized, informative proposals in response to customer requests. Solicit and coordinate other internal resources when needed or desired

Develop and present detailed product and system presentations

Manage product/services mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims

Forecast product requirements for each customer on a monthly basis

Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships

Lead customer contract negotiations and coordinate other internal resources as necessary

Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information

Attend trade shows and seminars, demonstrate products, articulate competitive benefit of company products and services

Seek out new sales and growth opportunities for the company

Represent the company during negotiations and offsite sales meetings and advise management of outcome and next steps

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field

10+ years of experience working in a similar role or 5 years of experience in sales/business development in the IFE/Aerospace industry and 5 years of engineering experience

Aerospace (IFE, Cabin Interiors, or Aviation) Sales or Marketing or Business development experience

Established relationships within the Aerospace industry

Experience with CRM tool

Good understanding of the IFE competitive landscape, products and systems

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Travel: Some local, domestic and international travel will be required
The starting pay range for this position is $150,000 - $169,000 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
