Job Description

We are looking for a decisive and organized professional who is energized by planning, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance processes in a high-tech production environment.

For our Animal Health location in Boxmeer, we are looking for a:

Maintenance Planner

Welcome to our team

Within the Integrated Process Team (IPT) Antigen, you will work in the Maintenance & Reliability team, consisting of approximately 12 colleagues. Together with two other maintenance planners, you will work on further the department and supporting the growth of our IPT. You will report to the Maintenance & Reliability Lead and work closely with technicians, engineers, and internal and external partners.

About the role

As a Maintenance Planner, you are responsible for preparing, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance activities on production installations and peripheral equipment. Your goal is to ensure maximum technical availability and reliability of our installations, in line with production, safety, and quality objectives. You play a key role in structuring and improving maintenance processes and are an important link between operations, engineering, and external parties.

**Tasks and **

  • Preparing, coordinating, and delivering maintenance activities and maintenance shutdowns for production equipment and installations
  • Ensuring optimal availability and reliability of assets within GMP, HSE, and company guidelines
  • Acting as a technical expert in the field of maintenance and installations for, among other things, Root Cause Analysis and Hazops
  • Analyzing maintenance processes and initiating improvements
  • Coordinating and planning activities with internal stakeholders, contractors, and engineering
  • Managing and guiding Technicians and external contractors during execution
  • Maintaining contact with external suppliers and overseeing the quality of execution
  • Supporting modifications and investment projects
  • Drafting procedures, work documentation, and maintenance plans
  • Providing technical advice and training where necessary

Your profile

  • Completed technical education at a minimum MBO-4 level
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner, preferably in pharma, chemistry, or food
  • Broad technical knowledge of production installations (e.g., control and electrical engineering, fermenters, Cleaning in Place (CIP), and autoclaves)
  • Experience with maintenance planning and work permit processes
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Continuous focus on quality, safety, and compliance
  • Experience with systems such as SAP PM, MS Office, and/or MS Projects is a plus
  • Ability to read technical documentation in Dutch, English, and preferably German
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Proactive, independent, and firm in communication
