The Research Program Associate, RST 3 within the Research Support Team 3 works in a dynamic and growing research environment in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and School of Nursing.
- This senior level position focuses on providing research program support and pre-award and post-award management on behalf of a research program or initiative.
- Supports the priorities by ensuring that appropriate compliance guidelines are followed so that the university continues to receive indirects from federal sponsors.
- Makes recommendations to policy and procedures, and may have authority to implement changes with minimal supervision.
- Maintains fiscal responsibility, as well as outreach to other GW stakeholders in order to assist in maintaining standard operational efficiencies.
- Works closely with Principal Investigators, managing day-to-day operations through direct grant award and administrative contributions to ensure research success.
