About the role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll generate qualified opportunities for our Enterprise Account Executive team through strategic outbound prospecting, while also qualifying and progressing inbound leads. The majority of your time will be focused on identifying and engaging enterprise organisations, building relationships across buying committees, and creating new pipeline through thoughtful, personalised outreach.
Core :
- Use buyer intent, account intent and market research to identify, prioritise and engage target accounts that align with our Ideal Customer Profile.
- Generate high quality sales opportunities for the Enterprise Account Executive team through outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
- Qualify and progress inbound enquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and effective handover to Account Executives where appropriate.
- Conduct discovery conversations with technical and business decision makers to identify pains, priorities and organizational impact.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop account engagement plans, coordinate outreach and progress strategic opportunities.
- Expand and strengthen opportunities by identifying additional stakeholders, building buying committee coverage and multi-threading relationships across accounts.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to follow up on campaigns and intent signals, while providing feedback and market insights to continuously improve messaging and campaign performance.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans and opportunity data to support effective pipeline management and reporting.
- Consistently achieve deal and pipeline targets by delivering high-quality prospecting, with success measured through qualified meetings, target account engagement, buying committee coverage, and strong conversion rates
What makes you a good fit
- 1-3 years' experience in outbound B2B SaaS sales or Business Development, with a track record of generating opportunities through strategic prospecting
- Experience engaging enterprise customers, navigating long and complex sales cycles, and building relationships across multiple stakeholders and buyer personas.
- Experience working across European and North American markets and adapting prospecting style and tactics accordingly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Curious, resilient and highly organised, with excellent research, account planning and time management skills.
- Comfortable learning technical products and having consultative conversations with IT decision-makers.
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Surfe and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
