Job Title: Shift Supervisor - 1-year fixed-term contract (CDD)

About the role

As a Shift Supervisor within our HSE - Fire Safety and Rescue team, you will help ensure the safety of people, facilities, and site industrial activities. You will manage emergency response operations, participate in risk prevention, and support teams in adhering to safety standards. Ready to get started?

Key :

  • Ensure the safety of people and property by carrying out rescue, first aid, and firefighting interventions
  • Coordinate initial emergency response actions until authorized personnel take over and supervise the site's response teams
  • Conduct safety and security rounds, verify fire, gas, or intrusion alarms, and ensure rescue equipment remains in operational condition
  • Participate in risk prevention activities, field inspections, evacuation drills, and crisis management exercises
  • Check and validate authorizations related to high-risk work and monitor associated safety measures
  • Perform necessary control measurements for specific interventions and oversee operations involving specific risks
  • Train and raise awareness among employees regarding fire safety and rescue procedures and contribute to drafting procedures and operating methods
  • Write intervention reports, participate in incident investigations, and provide reporting to the Fire and Rescue Operations Manager

About you

  • Experience: Experience in fire safety, emergency medical services, or industrial risk prevention; experience as a professional, volunteer, or military firefighter is highly valued

  • Technical and interpersonal skills:

  • Knowledge of fire safety, emergency management, risk analysis, first aid, and prevention

  • Ability to work in a team, make quick decisions, and communicate effectively in crisis situations

  • Rigor, sense of responsibility, and a strong safety culture

  • Ability to work in the field in a demanding industrial environment

  • Education: Training in the fields of safety, risk prevention, fire safety, or equivalent certification

  • Languages: Fluent French; proficiency in English is an asset
