Japan-US Relations: The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and Department of Political Science invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position beginning as early as Fall 2027. The successful candidate will hold the Chair of Japan-US Relations in the Elliott School and be jointly appointed in the GW Political Science Department. The School and Department's research and teaching interests include Japanese politics, Japanese foreign policy, and Japan-US relations. The position is open to scholars in both comparative politics and international relations. Japanese language skills and a record of research in Japan are highly appreciated. We seek applicants who demonstrate strong potential for achievement in scholarship and excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
