The role:

In this field-based role, you will work closely with customers' design teams, promoting and providing technical support for the evaluation, selection and design-in of products from our comprehensive Interconnect, Passive and (IP&E) portfolio from world-class suppliers.

Alongside customer engagement, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships at all levels, ensuring strong alignment between supplier objectives and business goals. You will play a key role in developing, implementing and reviewing demand creation strategies that drive design wins, increase market share and support long-term revenue growth.

Working collaboratively with our field sales team, you will identify new design opportunities, support customer development projects and help expand our presence across key target markets.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

• Identify and support customers’ new design project needs through in-depth, hands-on technical expertise
• Liaise with and support our field sales team whilst managing your own design project tracker
• Identify new customers and develop design-in opportunities, taking ownership of the activity and participating in reviews
• Work closely with customers’ engineering teams to provide creative and innovative design solutions
• Align product offers to their appropriate target industrial markets
• Create, maintain and grow supplier relationships
• Design funnel management, metrics and development;

Applicants will need a current UK driving licence, and be able to demonstrate experience with Interconnect, Passive and Electro-mechanical products and suppliers, combined with a thorough understanding of their applications within the UK electronics sector.
