About us:

The Equipment Q&V team is part of Quality Control and is responsible for the qualification, validation, and asset management of laboratory equipment in accordance with GMP requirements. In close cooperation with various departments, Quality Assurance, and Engineering, we are actively driving the digitalization and automation of laboratory processes. With us, you have the opportunity to contribute to practical projects in a dynamic environment and create real added value.

As part of your final thesis, an exciting task awaits you at the intersection of automation technology and pharmaceutical quality control: you will analyze existing laboratory processes and, based on these, develop innovative automation solutions for the laboratory. You will work closely with experienced professionals and learn how to implement technical solutions in a regulated GMP laboratory environment.

Job Description

• Participate in the analysis of existing laboratory processes with the goal of identifying automation potential

• Support the conception, planning, and implementation of automation solutions in the laboratory environment

• Develop and evaluate technical approaches while considering quality, safety, and GMP requirements

• Assist in the integration of laboratory equipment, sensors, and software solutions for process automation

• Create and conduct tests to validate new automation concepts

• Evaluate, document, and present project results

• Independently work on a practice-oriented topic as part of a Master's thesis

Requirements & Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field of study

• You are available for an internship phase followed by a Master's thesis

• You have an interest in automation technology, digitalization, and innovative technologies in the laboratory environment

• Ideally, you have basic knowledge of control engineering, measurement technology, or industrial automation

• You possess analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and independent way of working

• You are a true team player with strong communication skills

• You demonstrate high initiative and motivation to solve technical challenges in a practical manner

• You have very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
