Overview
Within the Chief Risk Officer department, you will support the OMR Special & ESG Clearing office, part of the structure dedicated to the integration of banking risks according to an Enterprise Risk Management approach. The internship will allow you to contribute to ESG and Major Transaction (OMR) assessments, the evolution of related frameworks, and data analysis, working primarily on documentation in English and using specialized tools and information providers.
What your activities will be
During the internship, you will have the opportunity to assist and support the team in the following activities:
- supporting the issuance of ESG opinions within the risk clearing process;
- following the implementation of the Equator Principles framework;
- contributing to the issuance of opinions on the Bank's Major Credit and Proprietary Transactions;
- collaborating on the automation of processes related to the relevant scope, with particular attention to data analysis and model management;
- analyzing reporting and qualitative and quantitative data from internal and external databases;
- using data office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAS, and Power BI;
- consulting web information providers, including rating agencies and specialized platforms;
- preparing analyses and work materials, primarily in English, in compliance with defined deadlines.
Who we are looking for
If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in economic, financial, or quantitative disciplines;
- knowledge of financial statement analysis, corporate finance, and Enterprise Risk Management, with reference to credit and non-financial risks, including operational, ESG, and geopolitical risks;
- ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data from internal and external databases and knowledge of data governance;
- proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Word, SAS, Power BI, and information platforms;
- knowledge of the English language to work on specialized documentation;
- knowledge of the Equator Principles and ESG risk clearing processes and the evaluation of Major Transactions is a plus.
