Overview
You will join the Digital Business Partner team and contribute, in partnership with key stakeholders, to the identification, design, and subsequent implementation of relevant initiatives in the Compliance Financial Markets and Investment Banking sectors. You will proactively and autonomously work to foster and coordinate active dialogue among all stakeholders (business representatives, control functions, and IT teams), building solid relationships to identify the most effective and efficient ways to achieve the objectives of the Business Plan.
What your activities will be
- Continuously monitor market developments and regulations in the sector of interest, identifying—together with Compliance representatives and other key stakeholders—potential impacts and initiatives to be activated
- Coordinate business, control, IT, and operations functions in managing requests and/or examinations by Authorities (Consob, NFA, ...)
- Formalize project requirements together with Compliance representatives and other key stakeholders, and propose the best methods for their implementation
- Manage project streams, monitoring progress, timelines, costs, and deliverable quality, addressing issues and related escalations, and developing solutions with the relevant structures to ensure the implementation of initiatives and the achievement of objectives
- Ensure continuous dialogue between various user stakeholders and IT, guaranteeing alignment between requirements, costs, regulatory constraints, and solutions
- Coordinate the collection and formalization of business and regulatory requirements, verifying the related documentation
- Analyze operational, regulatory, and technological impacts, ensuring consistency between requirements, operating models, and the target architecture
- Coordinate testing, monitoring, and the release of implemented solutions
- Prepare project documentation for both operational use and top management
- Manage key project update milestones (relevant meetings, status reports, Steering committees, ...)
Who we are looking for
If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- At least 5 years of experience in digital, organizational, and regulatory projects in the Banking sector with a focus on Compliance Financial Markets and Investment Banking
- Degree in economic or scientific disciplines
- In-depth knowledge of Financial Markets, Investment Banking, and Regulatory Reporting
- Experience in analysis, requirements gathering, and preparation of project documentation
- Management of project economics from a Total Cost of Ownership perspective
- English language proficiency at least at level B2 according to the CEFR scale
- Project Management, project governance, and risk and impact analysis
- Knowledge/use of AI tools
- Aptitude for continuous experimentation and the evolution of processes, solutions, and modus operandi, also leveraging the potential enabled by AI
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Leadership of complex projects
- Knowledge of main regulations in the Capital Markets field (MiFID II, MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR, MAR, Investor Protection and Product Governance, Dodd Frank Act - Swap Dealer)
- Previous study and/or work experience in an international environment is a plus
