Job Description

The person in this role will manage the entire procurement cycle, from day-to-day operations to strategic initiatives, by negotiating terms with service providers and ensuring that procurement meets the objectives and needs of internal stakeholders and the company.

As part of this mandate, the individual will primarily support Production teams by managing various procurement categories, including external co-development services, audio services, motion capture, casting, etc., as well as marketing and other categories based on production needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Procurement Management

  • Analyze and qualify needs expressed by internal stakeholders by proposing alternatives or optimizations;
  • Solicit, analyze, and compare quotes (RFQ) from service providers;
  • Lead calls for tenders (RFP) and ensure comparative analysis of offers;
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms;
  • Prepare and manage contracts in collaboration with the relevant departments;
  • Process purchase requests and issue purchase orders;
  • Monitor contractual commitments and supplier performance;
  • Collaborate with finance teams to track and resolve billing discrepancies;
  • Monitor and evaluate service provider performance (KPIs, business reviews);
  • Support any related tasks.

Category and Supplier Management

  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of procurement category strategies;
  • Conduct competitive and market intelligence;
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within your procurement category;
  • Contribute to strategic presentations for management, including well-reasoned recommendations.
Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or any other equivalent training.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position, or any other relevant experience.
  • Multi-party and international negotiations (asset).
  • Ability to organize and plan.
  • Ability to negotiate, including in complex or multi-party contexts.
  • Demonstrate autonomy and proactivity.
  • Be client- and results-oriented.
  • Ability to define priorities and manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in process management.
  • Ability to challenge needs and formulate strategic recommendations.
  • Ease in presentation and communication with different hierarchical levels.
  • Demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication (French and English).
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of a procurement management tool / ERP (asset).
  • Knowledge of procurement category management or supplier strategy (asset).
