Job detail for AI Solutions Architect, Business Process Optimization
Use AI to assess how you fit
The Opportunity
Want to help an entire organization get real value from AI? Adobe is hiring an AI Solutions Architect to lead how we strategize, enable, build, and scale AI.
This role sits at the intersection of enablement, architecture, hands-on experimentation, governance and delivery. You will help identify high-value AI opportunities, design the full system around AI models, build prototypes and reference implementations, guide implementation, and help solutions move beyond demos into scalable, reliable use.
You will also help Adobe make informed AI decisions by researching current AI trends, releases, features, platforms, and products generally available in the market. You will partner with AI-focused teams across Adobe, mentor others, challenge assumptions, and translate AI advancements into practical recommendations for what Adobe should use, how we should use it, and where we should be cautious.
What you'll do
- Advisory & Consulting
- Consult on AI initiatives from idea to adoption, making clear calls on what to pursue, defer, or drop and connecting teams so solutions get shared rather than rebuilt.
- Act as an internal consultant and constructive challenger, helping leaders pick the right path (including when better data, automation, or process change beats AI) and evaluate value, feasibility, security, privacy, scalability, cost, UX, governance, and maintainability.
- Enablement, Coaching & Adoption
- Coach developers and program managers to work more effectively with AI: prompting and reusable skills, agent harnesses, and AI-assisted design and coding.
- Lead the Finance AI Ambassador program, workshops, office hours, and a community of practice that raise AI literacy.
- Drive broader adoption through enablement programs, mentoring, training, and practical guidance for engineers, PMs, analysts, and business partners.
- Solution Design & Engineering Collaboration
- Support design, prototype, build, and help deliver AI-enabled solutions for business, product, customer, and operational needs across Adobe.
- Architect the full system around AI models: tools, retrieval, memory, orchestration, APIs, evaluation, observability, and integrations, so solutions hold up in production, not just in demos.
- Support building working prototypes, proofs of concept, reference implementations, and reusable patterns other teams can adapt and deliver.
- Support implementing AI workflows, assistant-style and agentic experiences, automations, function calling, tool use, MCP-style integrations, retrieval-based systems, and multi-step orchestration.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate approaches, review designs, troubleshoot, and guide solutions toward scalable, secure, reliable, maintainable delivery.
- Design evaluations and measure output quality, reliability, latency, cost, usability, risk, adoption, and post-launch business impact.
- Governance & Responsible AI
- Keep AI responsible and reliable with sensitive financial data: privacy, controls, auditability, and human review, in partnership with security, legal, and audit.
- Partner with business partners, data leaders, security, legal, and development teams on an AI-ready data foundation to move ideas from discovery through POC, implementation, testing, adoption, and iteration.
- Research & Strategy
- Research emerging AI models, platforms, releases, frameworks, and market trends, and translate findings into practical recommendations on what to use, how, and where to be cautious.
- Build relationships with AI-focused teams, platform groups, product partners, and technical leaders across Adobe to stay aligned with internal AI strategy, approved capabilities, and emerging opportunities.
What you need to succeed
·Responsible-AI judgment: awareness of privacy, security, risk, and governance, with extra care for Finance controls.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Product Management, or related concentration. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years in business solution architecture, product management, and/or technical customer success with a strong understanding of architecture design principles, cloud native patterns, business process optimization and/or AI development.
- Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with business applications powered by AI and familiarity with:
- Knowledge graphs, vector databases, and language models
- AI Integration patterns
- Agentic AI protocols
- Experience using popular AI tools: Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Glean, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and tools within the Adobe portfolio.
- Ability to effectively build AI prompts, chatbots and agents.
- Ability to develop architecture diagrams, capability modeling, and value stream mapping.
- Strong data analytics and visualization skills with large datasets, with experience in Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading, inspiring, and aligning cross-functional teams around new technologies and workflows.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communicator, with experience presenting to C-level executives and facilitating training for diverse audiences.
- Product-Centric Approach: Able to shape technical solutions for business impact, and comfortable owning problems end-to-end from discovery to deployment. Delivers durable solutions but can quickly prototype when needed.
