Job Description
We are a small, autonomous team developing an ambitious multiplayer experience on Unreal Engine. We are looking for highly committed developers driven by execution, a sense of responsibility, and the pride of building something concrete - together.
What you will do
- Collaborate with animation, programming, and motion capture teams to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Analyze existing animation features within the game engine.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable animation systems.
- Create tools and systems that contribute to living and dynamic worlds.
- Maintain and optimize existing animation systems to meet the needs of new projects.
- Program systems in a clear and structured manner, taking into account performance, memory, and compatibility.
- Combine technical and artistic aspects to ensure high-quality visual representation.
- Research and develop new animation techniques, particularly procedural and physics-based.
- Stay up-to-date on animation practices and technologies and share your knowledge with the teams.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of animation-related tools and processes.
Qualifications
What you bring to the team
- Proficiency in C++ and C#.
- Effective use of Visual Studio.
- Strong knowledge of 3D mathematics.
- Experience working with animation techniques such as rigging, state machines, ragdoll physics, inverse kinematics (IK), and facial animation.
- Understanding of the needs related to animation tool development and the ability to propose relevant improvements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Attention to detail to identify and fix issues within systems.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to various partners.
