POSITION SUMMARY:

This position works with and around petroleum products and is responsible for all operating aspects of renewable diesel products terminal. This position is critical in playing a prominent role in enhancing life’s possibilities by blending, distributing and delivering quality products in a safe, reliable and competitive manner.

KEY
  • Operates compressors, auxiliary generators, motors, pumps, valves, manlifts, forklifts, snowplows, and other system and facility maintenance equipment.
  • Supports truck and railcar loading and unloading of renewable diesel and related products.
  • Performs daily rounds as well as daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections. Prepares operational reports, system logs, and facility records.
  • Performs servicing, lubrication, and minor maintenance on renewable diesel process, storage, transfer, and distribution systems.
  • Upon qualification, issues and monitors safe work permits. Maintains a strong focus on health, safety, environmental, and security requirements within the work area.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be able to pass drug test and background check
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Rail Operations: Develops knowledge of railroad yard and terminal physical configurations such as, length of siding, location of signals and switches, terminal trackage. Develops knowledge of rail tank cars used to transport gaseous commodities and becomes familiar with railyard communication protocols and safety practices.
