We are looking for a qualified Financial Adviser to join our team in Auckland!
As a qualified Financial Adviser, the focus is the delivery of investment management and advisory services to Clients including non-discretionary agency clients, co-trustees and engaged beneficial interests.
The Financial Adviser is expected to promote additional products and services in a collaborative team environment. It is a pre-requisite that the Financial Adviser will form and nurture longstanding client relationships and demonstrate best practice as a Financial Adviser.
About You You are a motivated and detail oriented professional with a background in financial services with a passion for delivering high quality investment service support. Ideally you will have previous experience as a Financial Adviser or hold a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), and you will be well versed in the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 and other relevant legislation and trends relating to financial advice.
You will be a confident self-starter that has confidence in building relationships, with a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.

Key
- The development of new high value clients and referral sources
- Assess the client’s overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan
- Provide guidance, advice and support to the fiduciary services of the business
- Cultivate client base and build win-win relationships
- Risk and Compliance management and reporting
- Keep abreast of new industry’s trends and research market to back up financial consulting
- Ensure working knowledge, understanding and adherence to FA regulatory requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 5+ years experience in financial advisory services
- Financial Adviser Certified
- Track record of successful financial guidance
- Sound knowledge and understanding of all required industry rules and regulations
- Previous experience with managing key stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, as well as across various levels
- Familiarity with investment platforms, wrap providers, and business systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
- Certified Financial Planner (“CFP”) or Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) is preferred, but not essential
