Overview
You will join the Operations Department of Intesa Sanpaolo in Frankfurt and support the administration of loans, trade finance, payments and treasury-related transactions. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing, settlement and monitoring of banking operations, maintaining customer and account data, and coordinating operational activities with Head Office, customers and internal stakeholders.
What you'll be doing
Key will be:
- Process bilateral and syndicated loan transactions, deposits, money market and foreign exchange operations
- Enter, maintain and monitor transactions in the core banking system, including interest and repayment schedules
- Prepare and execute payment instructions, ensuring timely settlement and reconciliation
- Support account opening, amendment and closure processes, including maintenance of authorized signatories and beneficial owner information
- Maintain customer master data and archive operational and KYC documentation
- Process guarantees and letters of credit, including issuance, amendments, commission calculations and related bookings
- Coordinate trade finance activities with internal back office teams and external counterparties
- Monitor incoming payments, confirmations and balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
Who we are looking for
If you want to turn your passion into a career and you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- 2–3 years of relevant banking experience are required
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of loan administration, payments, trade finance and treasury operations
- Knowledge of SWIFT, SEPA payments and banking settlement processes
- Ability to work with banking systems and Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Understanding of KYC documentation, account maintenance and operational controls
- German language proficiency at CEFR level C1 or higher
- English language proficiency at CEFR level B2 or higher
- Knowledge of financial markets and banking products
- Preferred: Italian language skills and knowledge of syndicated loans, guarantees and letters of credit
