Job Description

As Team Lead (m/f/d) Market Access Pipeline Pharma – Infectious Diseases, you are responsible for leading a team of 2 Market Access Managers and steering the early development of market access strategies for pipeline products and new indications in the field of Infectious Diseases in Germany. You ensure that the requirements of the German market are integrated early into global development, evidence, and launch planning.

A special focus is placed on products with specific requirements in the German AMNOG and reimbursement context, including, for example, antibiotics, HIV products, or active ingredients with interfaces between pharmaceutical and vaccine pathways. The role contributes to deriving access implications for labels, study designs, and PICO definitions, as well as supporting the strategic preparation of later AMNOG-relevant activities internally.

Your main tasks:

The following professional tasks are the collective responsibility of the entire Market Access Pipeline Pharma – Infectious Diseases team. As Team Lead, you take on the overarching management and coordination, lead and support the team in implementation, and contribute to covering these tasks through your own operational work.

  • Leadership and development of a team of 2 Market Access Managers, including priority setting, coaching, feedback, and performance management.

  • Steering the development of data availability for the implementation of market access strategies for pipeline products and new indications in the field of Infectious Diseases in Germany.

  • Ensuring market access input into global interfaces to create optimal conditions for study design, evidence generation, and subsequent benefit assessment.

  • Planning, preparation, and support of early consultations with the G-BA, as well as contributing relevant implications to PICO definitions and development strategies.

  • Participation in the strategic preparation of AMNOG-relevant content, particularly with regard to value argumentation, evidence requirements, and Module 3-related issues.

  • Close cooperation with national functions such as HTA, Medical, Regulatory, and Policy, as well as with regional and global teams in Market Access and Medical.

What you bring:

  • Several years of experience in the field of Market Access with a focus on pipeline products, launches, or value/dossier strategies, preferably in the field of infectious diseases.

  • Completed university degree in medicine, pharmacy, natural sciences, health economics, business administration, or a comparable field.

  • Strong ability to scientifically evaluate and interpret clinical, health economic, and market-related data, as well as to derive sound, strategically relevant recommendations for access and launch decisions.

  • Very good knowledge of national healthcare structures and legal frameworks, in particular AMNOG, G-BA, IQWiG, and EU-HTA.

  • Leadership experience as well as the ability to effectively develop employees and manage them in a dynamic environment.

  • Very good communication, moderation, and argumentation skills, combined with a high level of team orientation, networking strength, and solution-oriented work.

  • Fluent English skills in both spoken and written form, as well as high ownership, resilience, and self-reflection.
