For our site in Schachen, we are looking for an Apprentice Laboratory Technician (EFZ) specializing in Chemistry starting in August 2027.

Your Tasks

  • Planning and conducting experiments: A laboratory technician for chemistry plans and conducts experiments for the analysis and production of chemical and biological substances.

  • Preparation and equipment use: This includes preparing samples and solutions, working with and maintaining laboratory equipment, as well as documenting and evaluating results.

  • Quality control and guidelines: Furthermore, quality controls are carried out and safety, hygiene, and quality regulations are adhered to.

  • Teamwork and support: Laboratory technicians work in a team and support research, development, and product testing.

  • Focus of the activity: The focus is on manual skills as well as the safe, efficient, and critical execution of experiments.

Your Profile:

  • Completed secondary education (Level A preferred) with good performance in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.

  • Clean, precise, and reliable work style with good powers of observation and fine motor skills.

  • Perseverance, patience, and the ability to think in an interconnected way.

  • Enthusiasm for research, experimentation, and working with electronic devices and complex apparatus.

  • Strong team spirit for successful collaboration in the laboratory.
