Job Description
We are looking for someone to act as a Design Coordinator in the Experian Consumer Services (ECS) unit, leading Product Designers and working closely with the squads and products under your responsibility.
This position will play a fundamental role in the connection between Design, Product, Technology, and Business, ensuring that consumer needs are considered throughout product development and that the delivered solutions have quality, consistency, and are aligned with the company's strategies.
Key

Lead, mentor, and develop Product Designers, promoting technical evolution, autonomy, and professional development;

Work closely with squads and Product and Technology leadership, contributing to the direction and evolution of products;

Ensure the quality of Design deliverables, monitoring solutions from the identification and understanding of problems to their implementation;

Guide the team in the application of the most appropriate Design practices, methods, and processes for each context;

Promote a consumer-centric approach, using data, research, and insights to support product decisions;

Ensure consistency and quality of experiences, promoting the use and evolution of standards and Design Systems;

Facilitate alignments, critiques, and Design discussions, contributing to raising the quality of the solutions developed by the team;

Work in partnership with other Design leaders, sharing practices, insights, and ensuring consistency across products and journeys;

Support the planning and prioritization of Design initiatives within the products under your responsibility;

Monitor performance, development, and career progression of team members.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in Product Design and leading Design teams, with experience in managing and developing Product Designers in digital product and service environments.
- Mastery of the main Design disciplines and practices, with a repertoire in Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, Interaction Design, User Research, Design Systems, and Service Design, being able to guide the team and critically evaluate the quality of solutions.
- Leadership and people development skills, including performance management, feedback, technical development, career progression, and building collaborative, high-performance teams.
- Product, consumer, and business vision, with the ability to understand problems and opportunities, connect user needs to product goals, and contribute to prioritization and decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate and influence in environments, working closely with Product, Technology, Data, Business, and other stakeholders to build solutions and directions jointly.
