Job Purpose:

The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for supporting the effective planning, coordination, governance, monitoring, and reporting of projects across the Bank. The role ensures that projects are delivered in alignment with the Bank’s internal standards, policies and procedures, governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, business objectives, approved timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.

The position requires strong project coordination, organizational, analytical, and communication skills, together with the ability to effectively manage relationships and coordinate activities across Business functions, IT teams, external vendors, and regulatory stakeholders.

Main :

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resources, and key activities.
  • Ensure project implementation is aligned with the Bank’s standards, internal policies and procedures, governance frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate activities and deliverables across multiple stakeholders, including Business functions, IT teams, external vendors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Support project teams in defining priorities, key deliverables, critical path activities, and required actions.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and support the mitigation of project risks, including regulatory compliance, system integration, data security, operational, financial, and delivery risks.
  • Support the assessment, prioritization, and approval of project changes based on business requirements, project constraints, risks, and overall project objectives.
  • Provide regular and transparent project status reporting, including key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, action plans, and remediation activities.
  • Organize and facilitate regular project and operational meetings with relevant stakeholders to review progress, address critical issues, monitor actions, and ensure alignment.
  • Prepare periodic management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and relevant governance committees.
  • Coordinate and monitor the allocation of project resources
  • Support the identification and definition of required project resources, equipment, software, and services, ensuring that associated costs are appropriately reflected in project budgets.
  • Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets related to project
  • Ensure procurement-related documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and supporting documentation, is properly maintained and readily available for audit and governance purposes.
  • Support the overall project quality assurance process and track testing progress, defects, open issues, and remediation activities, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation where required.
  • Ensure project documentation, records, and evidence are maintained in accordance with the Bank’s internal governance, document management, information retention, and audit requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, project governance standards, reporting practices, and project management methodologies.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, project management methodologies, PMO frameworks, and best practices.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in Project Management, PMO, IT Project Management, or a similar role. Experience within the banking or financial services sector would be considered an advantage.
  • Professional certification in Project Management or PMO methodologies, such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent, would be considered an advantage.
  • Certification or formal training in IT Service Management, Risk Management, Business Analysis, Change Management, or related disciplines would be considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience with projects involving regulatory change, digital transformation, IT implementation, system integration, or banking platforms would be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with project management, collaboration, and reporting tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, dependencies, and potential impacts on project delivery.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into structured project plans, deliverables, and actionable activities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
