Overview
Within the Chief Audit Officer Area, you will support the Audit Data Provisioning & Analytics team in developing advanced analytics and data-driven models, including the use of artificial intelligence solutions to support internal audit activities, by managing data acquisition, manipulation, and processing. You will contribute to the definition, implementation, and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRI), supporting the team in the proactive identification of risks and the evolution of the Continuous Auditing framework.
What your activities will be
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and support the team in the following activities:
- Develop advanced analysis on structured and unstructured data to support Internal Audit activities, identifying anomalies and risk trends.
- Contribute to the adoption of innovative data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of audit and internal control activities.
- Support the development and evolution of Continuous Auditing frameworks, contributing to the definition, implementation, and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRI).
- Create analytical models, dashboards, and advanced reporting to support audit analysis.
- Collaborate with other Audit departments to identify automation opportunities and develop continuous testing and data analytics solutions to support control activities.
- Acquire, integrate, and transform data from heterogeneous corporate sources, evaluating its quality, consistency, and traceability.
- Automate data collection, processing, and analysis processes through analytics, data engineering, and visualization tools.
- Document methodologies, analytical logic, developed models, and indicators used, ensuring their maintainability and compliance with internal standards.
Who we are looking for
If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics with a quantitative focus, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of Python or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with data analysis libraries such as pandas, numpy, or similar tools.
- Understanding and knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and data visualization concepts.
- Introductory knowledge of machine learning concepts and techniques.
- Familiarity with managing structured and unstructured data.
- Interest in generative artificial intelligence, Large Language Models, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, Microsoft Copilot, or Copilot Studio will be considered an additional plus.
- Curiosity or basic exposure to pipelines based on Large Language Models, AI component orchestration, context engineering, knowledge grounding, and basic concepts of APIs/integration.
- General knowledge of statistics and data analysis concepts acquired through university courses, academic projects, theses, or individual learning paths.
- General knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI concepts, preferably acquired through university courses, academic projects, theses, or individual learning paths.
- Basic understanding of or interest in the AI agent lifecycle: use case identification, design, testing, monitoring, and documentation.
