About us

As part of your role, you will work as a Pharmacy Intern in the Research & Development department, specifically in BioAnalytics Germany. The BioAnalytics Germany department develops and establishes innovative technologies and analytical methods to support drug process development as well as GMP drug manufacturing for new, complex protein modalities for use in clinical trials.

The BioProcess Analytics team utilizes immunological, chromatographic, and electrophoretic techniques, some of which are operated as high-throughput and automated methods.

Analytical activities within the BioProcess Analytics area are coordinated with external companies and internal specialized laboratories. Furthermore, BioProcess Analytics creates analytical control strategies for complex protein molecules.

Job Description

• Execution of analysis for protein-containing process samples of and documentation of the work

• Coordination of analytical activities for in-process samples as well as final biologics and their intermediates

• Monitoring of development work and analyses at external testing facilities, including the organization of sample shipments

Requirements & Qualifications

• You have completed or will soon complete the 2nd section of your pharmaceutical training (2nd State Examination in Pharmacy)

• You have a strong interest in technical development and analytical questions

• You are proficient in the use of standard software (MS-Office)

• You possess an independent way of working and motivation with a strong sense of initiative

• You have excellent communication skills

• You have good written and spoken German and English skills
